AB KOMPONENTY s.r.o.
Our company is engaged in the production of parts and components in the field of engineering production and the electrotechnical industry. The diversity of our machinery provides our customers with complete services in the field of CNC metal machining and sheet metal processing, including surface treatments.
The company was founded in 2001, and its success was based on a long-standing tradition of manufacturing components for the assembly line production of switchboards for ABB s.r.o., formerly EJF a.s. Maintaining a position as a reliable supplier meant not only keeping up with the latest production technologies, but also streamlining all order management processes. We renovated our production factory, switched to a new information system and, last but not least, in 2003 we managed to obtain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.
Currently, AB KOMPONENTY s.r.o. is a company that can meet the needs of customers both in the Czech Republic and worldwide.

QUALITY
The company has developed and documented an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System to ensure that the prescribed quality requirements for the processes, activities and products supplied are met throughout the production process and that the products meet the specified and expected requirements of the customer and the relevant standards.
The company has a uniform documented quality assurance system, which is used to plan and manage the production process in order to achieve the best results and meet all customer requirements. The system is constantly monitored, reviewed and updated to ensure that the most appropriate procedures and working methods are used to achieve the most optimal results.
The quality assurance system at AB Komponenty s.r.o. is organized and documented on three levels:
– management level – documented by the “Quality and Environmental Manual”.
– operational management – documented by “Directives”, instructions of the managing director and heads of departments
– detailed process management – documented by “Instructions”, “Operating Rules”, work instructions, standards, etc.
In 2003, the company successfully transformed its quality management system into compliance with the new ISO 9001:2000 standard and in December 2003 received a certificate confirming the compliance of our quality management system with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 from the certification company BVQI.
We also received a certificate confirming the compliance of our environmental protection system with the requirements of ISO 14001:1996 in 2003. This system was brought into compliance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 in 2005. This confirmed that AB Komponenty s.r.o. maintains and continuously improves its quality management system and applies a process approach to the management system.
Scope of the QMS and EMS management system and its boundaries
The Quality and Environmental Management System of AB Komponenty s.r.o. covers all activities of the company in the premises of the company’s headquarters at Vídeňská 101/119, Brno. The Quality and Environmental Management System is applied by the company for the production of metallic and non-metallic parts including their welding, assembly and surface treatment.
Design and development of products and services is not applied.
